Special Air Traffic Procedures Sebring Regional Airport, FL
In anticipation of the large number of aircraft operating to and from the Sebring area in conjunction with the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo, there are procedures used to enhance safety and minimize air traffic delays.
Pilots should consult the Expo 2017 NOTAM prior to the event. KSEF traffic will be controlled by FAA from the period of 8:30 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. each day.
Expo Aircraft Demonstration Operations
Prior to conducting any demonstration flights, Expo demonstration aircraft pilots must attend a briefing. Time and locations to be announced. All demonstration aircraft must be covered by appropriate liability insurance and have the necessary aircraft documents.
Between 7:00AM and 8:45AM; and between 5:00PM and 6:00PM, Powered Parachute and Paraglider operations will be conducted on that section of RWY 14-32 that is northwest of the intersection with Taxiway A, under the control of Expo Air Operations.
From 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily, Expo aircraft operations will be conducted under the control of FAA. When control tower is closed, the expo patterns are closed to all Fixed-Wing Aircraft.
